We Love Math!
9/22/2017
This week during our morning math lessons, the students further explored the concepts of addition and subtraction of whole numbers/number sense. By working in partnerships and groups, the students were able to practice computation, while also utilizing collaboration and teamwork; both twenty-first century skills. The students were working together, taking turns and encouraging each other! While using the number rack or recording in their workbook, the students were gaining confidence in themselves and one another! Next week, we will continue to build on these skills and more! We will be continuing to study Unit One of Bridges. We will also continue reviewing short i words and building good reading habits. Thank you and have a great weekend! We educate students to be exceptional learners and independent thinkers of vision, courage, and integrity. Comments are closed.
