What is Love?
2/17/2018
Love comes in many forms, and we use the word in many contexts. However, in mainstream culture, we tend to see more examples of romantic love than anything else. As a result, it's easy for kids to forget about all the forms love can take. In order to help 5th grade students understand the differences between all of the different ways love can be expressed, we did a project. This week for Valentine's Day, I gave students a "speed project" on the theme of love. Students were given one hour to learn one of the types of love, write a brief script, gather any necessary props or costumes, and perform in front of the camera. Check out the results of our "speed project" in the video below! Comments are closed.
