It's Finally Finished!
4/14/2018
You know that old saying, "It takes a village..."? That holds true to other things besides raising children. These last two weeks it has also applied to finishing a very large mural. There were so many people involved with the creation (and finishing) of this project! In the beginning, Ms. Tabitha and Mr. Daniel helped out with logistics and gave their input on various topic ideas. Ms. Mariner and her husband Chuck, the holder of all fishy knowledge, gave wonderful advice regarding salmon coloring and anatomy. Kennadi's dad Jeremy helped us to understand how our Alaskan salmon is transported to other places. And finally Ms. Jaeger, who helped the 2nd and 3rd graders bring those salmon to life with a few finishing details that made all the difference! We thank you and appreciate you all so much!
We talk a lot about what a solid community PNA has amongst the families and students, but it's worth mentioning that the faculty and staff of PNA really support and encourage and help each other as well. The installation of the mural will take place in the next couple of weeks and we will have a big unveiling. Be sure to look out for that invitation to see what we've accomplished together!
